The Book

This is the story of an epic bikepacking journey, on the brand new ‘Western Wildlands Route’, and the ‘Idaho Hot Springs Mountainbike Route’.

Fitted with a new bike – ‘Bomba’ – Geert van Keulen started his ride in Albuquerque, mid April 2019, to finish in mid September when he rolled into Calgary Airport in Canada. This book features 125 sketches, all drawn on location. It has illustrated maps, statistics and anecdotes of people he met on the trail and of the animals he saw in the inspiring nature. The mountains, rivers, lakes, deserts and forests. When Geert finished his ride at the border between Montana and Canada, he was the first rider to complete the Western Wildlands Route going Northbound.

164 pages chocka bloc full of sketches, stories and maps

This informative, funny and artistic book is a must for bikepackers
