Down in the canyon,
Zion National Park

After setting up camp in the amazing Zion NP, Geert hiked up to a viewpoint that overlooked the massive Zion Canyon Valley. On his way down, he walked through this smaller canyon and stopped and sketched for a few hours until the cold drove him out. It was magical down there. The dark cliff faces that framed his position sat in cool shade and relative darkness, and the cliffs at the end of the canyon were caught in bright sunlight.
