30 August 2015/This cork tree – so typically in plentiful numbers in forests at the Mediterranean end of the hike – was sketched over 4 pages. It was quite a hassle as the pages would flip back. Geert managed to pull it off on a dark and overcast late arvo with the help of a few bulldog clips. The tree stood in a meadow and carried mosses from top to bottom that gave it a green shine//Pen & ink/watercolour
